Diversity, Inequality, and Scientific Impact

Project Summary

This area of my research looks at how diversity and inequality shape science: how the composition of research teams relates to the impact of the work they produce, and how a scientist’s background can affect the course of their career. I study these questions across the different stages of academic life, from the early training years through to established careers, with the goal of understanding what role diversity plays in science and how inequalities emerge and persist within it.
